anniversary

happy happy one month wedding anniversary to us. here's a cliche: feels like it's been so much longer! but it really does.
the wedding day came and went by in a whizz. it was truly a blessing to have everyone we had there, and to have so much support from our friends and family. i can't yet describe how i felt that day and how i feel today, and i'm not sure if i ever will be, because i'm not sure if there is any significant feeling to describe, other than knowing that you're getting dressed, and putting make up on, and getting your hair done because so many people will be looking at you while you get married to the man you love; and the rest is photo shoots, kissing the bride and dancing with friends.
dancing with friends, that makes such a good memory.

Hello blog! It's hard to believe years have passed since my last post and as I get inspired about a new path I'd like to try, I returned to my blog as a starting point, since for such a long time it used to be a platform I felt comfortable sharing my thoughts. Celebration of Life

Today I made a decision. I decided to celebrate my life, here in the USA, love it and remember that this is my dream coming true. I decided when I was walking through the aisles of Trader Joe's and hearing Ain't No Sunshine When She's Gone, remembering Marji and how I longed to be here where she is, where all my dear friends are, and how I changed my life deliberately to be here. I decided never to forget how meant-to-be everything is and how I can choose to be happy at every moment. So I celebrate my life, I celebrate who I am, I celebrate my husband and who he is and what we have, and of course I can't do anything but celebrate my beautiful Canberk. I decided to celebrate what I have instead of feel bad about what I don't. I decided to live life as a celebration and not a grievance. I also decided to take good care of my teeth and face.
